Rich: grew up with punk and new wave buzzing in his
brain. After he decided this scene was getting too stagnant,
he turned to jazz and dance. This was the age of early house
and the underground rave explosion. A massive initiation! After
having been hit by the drum ‘n’ bass storm, he returned
to his house ‘n’ jazzy roots. When you catch him playing,
these will probably be the main ingredients of the set, served
along with some dub and downtempo when needed.
Jonathan: he was the baby in the family and listened
to such a variety of music that it took him ages to understand
his tastes. His father, being a trombone player, was a jazz
addict. His mother was completely into Latin music , his brother
was into funk and soul and his other brother, listened to pop.
He finally chose jazz and everything somehow related to it:
bossa nova, Cuban music, classic salsa and world music. Today
acid jazz, Latin jazz, world and a twist of house, make up his
favorite cocktail.
3z: is the icing on the cake. With his organizational skills
and computeroid deviance, he helps Invisible Recordings combine
its techno vibes with an Internet presence. He claims to be
musically challenged but demonstrates interest and love. That's
the essence... music!
