Pato M: formerly a classical and jazz guitar player
and composer, the Chilean born Pato, grew up in New York City
where he studied with some heavyweights jazz icons such as Gary
Peacock, John Abercrombie, Ralph Towner among others. Discovered
breakbeat culture and drum ‘n’ bass during the 90's while living
in Europe. Since then, his guitar has been lying in a corner
of his room, which is now equipped with computers and samplers.
Pato has his own radio show in Santiago, Chile named "tambores
y Bajo" (meaning drum'n'bass in spanish). His music ranges from
breakbeat to house and jazz.
Centovalley: the new project of the two members of Stereolake
recordings. They produced soundtracks for films and commercials
and maybe you already had the occasion to appreciate the vibes
of their project Cybophonia on compilations for the likes of
Irma, Hed Kandi, Ministry of Sound or Inertia.
My Small Brother: is a common project beetween Pato
M, musician and composer and Richesse, producer, DJ and label
founder of Invisible Recordings. The project is a platform for
their experimentations beyond the music frontiers.
The two already worked toghether during the 90’s on soundtracks
for advertisings and films.
They passed long sleepless nights talking and listening to music,
building and deconstructing tracks and searching for the right
vibe. My Small Brother is one of the results of this process.
Amalur: it’s all a mystery. All we know about this
project is that it’s driven by a very shy producer who
anonymously leaves his CDs in our letterbox. We feel privileged
to have him on board, although, we’d like to know his
address to send him our congratulations.
